Irwin Federman, General Partner, U.S. Venture Partners

Irwin Federman joined USVP in 1990 as a general partner with significant investment experience: as CEO of Monolithic Memories, he led his firm's investments in successful startups such as Cypress Semiconductor, Xilinx and Altera. During his tenure as CEO from 1978 to 1987, Irwin spearheaded MMI's turnaround from virtual bankruptcy to a $250 million revenue organization. When MMI merged with Advanced Micro Devices, Irwin assumed the post of Vice Chairman of AMD. He is a former Chairman of the Semiconductor Industry Association and served as a board member of the National Venture Capital Association. Irwin was a founding or lead investor in BeVocal, Blue Martini, Check Point Software Technologies, Centillium Communications, Crescendo Communications, Mellanox Technologies, MMC Networks, NeoMagic, Netro, Nuance Communications, Quick Logic, SanDisk and TelCom Semiconductor. Irwin received a B.S. in Economics from Brooklyn College and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Engineering Science from Santa Clara University.

Robert Gersten, SVP Oracle EPM Development, Oracle Corporation

Robert Gersten currently serves as Senior Vice President of Development for Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Suite, and is responsible for the strategic planning and delivery of Oracle’s enterprise performance management products. Prior to joining Oracle, Gersten was Chief Development Officer for Hyperion, a leading BI solution provider, and senior vice president for Platinum Technology, a provider of infrastructure software for database and systems management, application development and knowledge management.

John Hall, Managing Director, Horizon Ventures

John Hall co-founded Horizon Ventures in 1999 and has more than 18 years of experience in the venture capital industry. Prior to Horizon Ventures, John co-founded Newtek Ventures II in 1989 where he was a General Partner. Before becoming a venture capitalist, John had broad experience as a senior financial executive over a 20-year period including Syntex Pharmaceuticals for 7 years as the International Chemical Group Controller and Intel Semiconductors for 4 years as Group Controller of International Operations. He was a co-founder of Cadnetix, a successful EDA software company where he was CFO for 7 years, taking them through their IPO and later participating in the sale of the company for over $300M in 1989. He holds a B.S. degree in Accounting and Finance and an M.B.A. in Finance from San Jose State University.

Kim Orumchian, Founder, Chairman

Kim Orumchian co-founded Right90 in August 2003. Prior to Right90, Kim was the Vice President of Marketing and Product Development for Jamcracker, Inc. In June, 1995, Kim co-founded and was the Executive Vice President of Product Development and Co-Founder of Fatbrain.com (then known as CBooks Express.) Fatbrain.com grew to $100M in revenues, completed an IPO and then subsequently was sold to Barnes&Noble.com. Kim was responsible for driving the company's business-to-business strategy and managing both product and services business units as well as the functional disciplines of IT, engineering, program management and product management. Previously, Kim was Manager of Developer Relations at NeXT and General Magic. Kim has a B.A. in Physics from Reed College and a B.S. in Applied Physics from Columbia University.

Arthur Wong, CEO, Right90

Art joined Right90 as its CEO in October of 2009. He previously held senior executive roles at Symantec, the world's 4th-largest software company, including as its interim Group President of the Enterprise Security and Data Management business unit; Senior Vice President of Security Response, Managed Services and SaaS; and Vice President of Services and Support. At Symantec, Art led several business units with P&L responsibility of up to $2B in revenue.

Prior to joining Symantec in August 2002, Art served as Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder at SecurityFocus, a threat management and early warning company, which Symantec acquired. Art previously served as Director of Channel Development at McAfee, and CEO and Co-Founder of Secure Networks, a security assessment company, which was acquired by McAfee. Art has founded several other companies in information technology and entertainment software. Art has a B. Comm. in Management Information Systems from the University of Calgary.
